The dogs take them just like a treat (no more pill in a piece of salami) and they seem to be doing the trick for both short trips and long. Our older dog almost always would start salivating as soon as she got in the car (even before we started moving) from the anxiety. Now she happily gets in and finds a spot to lay down.
